A video example of a medium-sized wind chime that features a unique tube-suspension design. The sustained “note-holding” ability of this particular wind chime is obtained via a tube suspension system that supports the wind chime tube from an internal rod which is attached to the tube string. The increased complexity of the design adds minimal cost to this type of wind chime but produces wind chime music that is accurately tuned and “note-sustained”. This type of wind chime can legitimately be considered a true musical instrument…powered by nature.
